Howell Melon Run Takes Downtown

The 49th Annual Howell Melon Run is scheduled for Friday, August 14, in downtown Howell, with race activities beginning at 6 p.m. The One in a Melon Mile starts at 6:30 p.m., followed by the 5K at 7 p.m. Race-day packet pickup begins at 4:30 p.m. at the corner of Clinton and State streets, and early pickup is listed for August 12 and 13 at Howell locations. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and participants using wheelchairs or other assistive devices.
