Birding After Hours Returns to Preserve

Birding After Hours is scheduled for Friday, August 14, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, 350 E. Galleria Drive. The city describes the program as a guided sunset walk during the evening period when birds are active. Registration is required, and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The event gives Calico Ridge residents a chance to use a Henderson nature facility after normal daytime hours while learning about local birds and habitat.
