County Hosts Senior Scam Prevention Town Hall

Macomb County's Prosecutor's Office will hold a SCAMS telephone town hall at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, for seniors, families and guardians. The session will focus on recognizing and preventing scams and protecting against exploitation. It will last about 60 to 90 minutes and requires no in-person attendance. Residents should register in advance to receive the call. The county says calls begin about 30 minutes before the event, and participants may ask questions or simply listen.
