Harrison Township Public Library will host Coffee and Conversation with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday, August 13, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at 38255 L'Anse Creuse Street, Suite A. Representatives from the MDHHS Environmental Health Bureau will explain what PFAS are, how they enter the environment, their effects, and ways residents can protect themselves. Coffee and donuts will be provided. Registration is preferred online or by calling the library at 586-329-1261.
