SMART Van Service Pauses August 24

The Recreation Authority's SMART Van service for Eastpointe and Roseville residents will be unavailable from Monday, August 24, through Monday, September 7, during the authority's facility shutdown. The service is scheduled to resume Tuesday, September 8. Residents who use the van for medical appointments, shopping, or other trips should arrange alternate transportation during the pause. The authority's senior transportation information says rides normally must be scheduled in advance, with medical appointments and shopping receiving priority when service is operating.
