Weekly 5K Run Scheduled At Baisley Pond

NYRR Open Run is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Baisley Pond Park House. The free 5K welcomes runners and walkers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels. The meeting point is in Baisley Pond Park near Rockaway and Sutphin Boulevards, a neighborhood location serving Springfield Gardens and nearby Southeast Queens communities. Residents can use the weekly event for an organized morning workout or walk in the park. The program is part of the park's continuing Saturday Open Run schedule.
