Black Vegas History Panel Set

Las Vegas will host a free public conversation, Our City, Our Nevada: Black Artists and Elders in Conversation, Thursday, August 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Las Vegas Civic Center second-floor Public Meeting Room, 525 S. Main St. The panel will discuss how history appears in artists' work and what life was like growing up in Nevada. Registration is available through the city. The related Rhythm and Resilience: Black Vegas exhibition is scheduled to close the same day.
