Paleontology Lab Opens To Park Visitors

Pop-Up Paleo Lab will be held Saturday, August 29, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Ice Age Fossils State Park, 8660 N Decatur Blvd in North Las Vegas. Visitors can watch a paleontologist work on the preparation and conservation of fossils from the park's collection, ask questions and learn about fossil preparation techniques. The program is open to all ages and does not require registration. The regular $3 park entry fee applies, children 12 and under enter free, and minors under 16 must attend with an adult. Visitors should check in at the visitor center.
